Miyo Acimowin: The good story

The Good Story

Written & performed by: Rob Hunter
Directed by: Lina de Guevara.

In a tribute to his Cree/Métis heritage, Victoria performer Rob Hunter tells the story of a sacred family heirloom- a buckskin coat covered in thimbles that was given to his great-great-grandmother- and the way the coat wove its way into his own memories, Miyo Acimowin blends music, Aboriginal performance/storytelling, personal spirituality and family history.
